One win and one defeat for MTS on the road at FPS

In two closely fought and evenly matched games at GEMS Firstpoint School, both school finished the day with one ein and one defeat.

  • The under 12s lost to a goal from a coner on the stroke of half time and, after being fortunate not to concede early in the second half, were denied in late in the game by some brilliant Firstpoint defending.
  • The under 14's scored int he first minute in their fixture with Seif Frieg tapping home Sameer Mussa's deflected shot. Sameer then added the second on ten minutes after capitalising on a mistake in the FPS defence and camly shooting past the goal keeper. MTS had something to hold onto but they were forced to rely on counterattacks as they defended wave after wave of FPS attacks. Despite this they held on for well deserved first win.

On to GCS tonight for the second fixture of our double header!
